The Indian Prime Minister who is “addressing the Nation” through video conferencing telecasted by all major electronic media outlets in India has started at 5 PM.
Narendra Modi in the initial part of his speech praised the efforts of the Government to deal with the Covid 19 Resurge. “In the last one and a half year, the health infrastructure has improved multi-fold and India is ready to deal with covid situations,” the Indian PM said.
Meanwhile, the address is happening as many rumours have spread across Jammu Kashmir and many believe the Indian Prime Minister will speak on the prevailing situation, however, Sources informed The Kashmiriyat that the Indian Prime Minister is likely to speak on COvid 19 and the vaccination progress.
“The Indian Prime Minister’s address will focus on Covid 19 issues, nothing else,” they said.
Pertinently rumors have been cycling in Kashmir for the past several days, however, the rumours increased manifold after a news report emerged mentioning the heightened security movement in Jammu Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the officials have called the rumours as baseless.
