Police Claims to have Arrested Master Mind behind Threat Posters to SPOs

The Jammu Kashmir police on Friday said that it has arrested the mastermind behind the posters which were being used to issue threats to the Special Police Officers, political workers and other Police Officers.

A police spokesperson in a statement said that on a tip off the police with the assistance of Army’s 42 RR and 180 BN CRPF cordoned the house of Irshad Ahmad Malla son of Abdul Khaliq Malla, a resident of Kranzbal in Tral.

“Irshad was the mastermind in preparing the posters which were being used to threat SPOs, Political workers and other Police Officers,” a police spokesperson said.

He said a case under FIR No. 94/2018 U/Ss 18, 20, 38 ULA (P) Act has been registered against Irshad in police station Tral and investigations taken up.
