Unknown gunmen on Wednesday night shot at a policeman near Khanyar area of Srinagar in Jammu Kashmir.
Reports reaching The Kashmiriyat suggested that a Police constable identified as Mohammed Ilyas has been shot and injured by suspected militants in Khanyar area of Srinagar.
An Official confirming the incident said that he has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
