A Policeman was injured when he accidentally opened fire from his own service rifle in Dak Bungalow area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a Policeman identified as Jahangeer Ahmed who is posted as a guard of a National conference leader accidentally opened fire, injuring himself.
He was rushed to the District hospital in Islamabad (Anantnag) where the doctors told The Kashmiriyat that his shoulder had sustained injury.
The Doctors stated his condition to be stable.
