Two persons including a civilian and a Policeman were injured when suspected MIlitants opened fire at the Sheerazi chowk area of Srinagar’s Khanyar Locality.
Official Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Tuesday afternoon, a Policeman and a civilian were injured after the police party came under firing from suspected militants in the Khanyar.
They said that the duo was shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment, where the cops is said to have received a bullet wound in the stomach.
Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
