Poonch Grieves Over Demise of Former Lecturer and Social Activist Nazar Hussain Nehvi

After prolonged illness, Mr. Nazar Hussian Nehvi lost the battle of life on 8th of December, 2021 at a Jammu hospital.

Nazar Hussain Nehvi happened to be one of the founders of Khatim-ul-Anbiya Library situated at Poonch. The library has around 4000 literary texts.

Ammar, who holds a membership of the said library, while talking to The Kashmiriyat about Mr. Hussain said, “He used to spend his hard earned money to fill the gaps in the library.” He had also established Fatima Zahra Welfare Trust, which worked to provide education to the underprivileged masses.

Akbar Jaipuri Memorial Committee, Kashmir also paid tributes to his glorious contributions to the society and offered condolences. “This is a great loss for the community and people of Poonch. He had been a noble personality and a pious person who lived all his live preaching religion and helping people,” the Committee said.

Meanwhile, the Shia Federation, Jammu also offered sympathies and prayers for the bereaved family.
