Today the youth from different areas of Anantnag district held the protest at Eidgah Janglat Mandi Anantnag and Park Kupwara to protest against JKSSB for selecting a blacklisted company to conduct major recruitment.
Addressing media various members raised questions on working of government. They said that JKSSB has issued exam clander of pending exam in order to suppress the youth and to cover up their scams. They alleged that the answer key leaked on the 28th of December before the expected date and the Chairman explains that he doesn’t know how this happened, if he doesn’t know how the answer key leaked then how does he know what will be the design of the high court before a month.
They further allege that another system has been introduced by JKSSB i.e. they deliberately reshuffle the answers of questions and if we challenge for this we have to 200 rupees for each question, shows that there is no existence for those aspirants who belong to poor families. Scams in recruitments are not a secret anymore recently four exams in JK were cancelled due to irregularities.JKPSI, FAA,JE and Assistant Registrar and Junior Assistant in KU these exams were scrapped due to irregularities and paper leaks. Fire and emergency services recruitment is under investigation.Youth of state suffering from acute unemployment rate which is not hidden from national agencies too. Though UT govt is providing jobs but from past 4 years and 2 years after corona those jobs are on paper only. All major recruitment was only a lolipop for youth. Those recruitments are still incomplete. Corruption is eroding the trust of the youth over the LG administration since on the 8th of July in his statement LG said that culprits will not be spared but that appears to be a statement only. Following that CBI neither provided lists to debar candidates from exams nor JKSSB requested for the same. As a result every scammer was allowed to appear in the exam.
