One Army man, one paramilitary trooper and one Militant has been killed in the ongoing encounter at Ratnipora area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a heated exchange of gunfire is underway in the area amid intense clashes.
50 RR of Indian Army, 182 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police were fired upon by Militants during a cordon and search operation in the area.
Immediately the troops cordoned off the area during which the holed up Militants opened fire on the troopers triggering an encounter.

As per initial reports available to The Kashmiriyat Jaish e Muhammad militants are trapped in a residential house in the area.
In the initial exchange of fire two army man were critically injured, one of them has succumbed to his injuries, while another is undergoing treatment at Army’s base hospital in Srinagar, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
A para military trooper of 10 Para and a Militant have also been killed.

Meanwhile mobile internet services have been snapped in Pulwama, while train services have been suspended in South Kashmir.
