Deep Narayan Upadhyaya, a Bharatiya Janata Party worker and Ayodhya mayor Rishikesh Upadhyaya’s nephew bought a property of 890 sq meters on 20 February 2021 for 20 lakh rupees from a mahant, Devendra Prasadacharya and sold it to the Ram Janmbhoomi trust set by the Modi government for 2.5 crore rupees after three months, reported Newslaundry (NL).
