Raising Anti-Muslim Slogans, Hindutva Mob Gathers Again in Gurgaon to Disrupt Friday Prayers

A right-wing Hindutva mob on Friday today gathered at Gurugram’s Sector 37 and raised anti-Muslim slogans against offering Friday namaz at the site, the Quint reported.

Raising slogans against Islam and Muslims, the mob demanded that the Friday congregation prayers must not be allowed. In a video of the incient that has been posted over social media, saffron mobs can be seen raising ‘Jai Shri Ram slogans’ and ‘Na Mullo ka, na Qazi ka, yeh desh veer Shivaji ka’

Residents and locals had joined the protest, chanting Hindu prayers at the time of ‘namaz’ on consecutive Fridays.

The Hindutva groups assembled outside Sector 37 site where the Muslim community earlier used to offer namaz.

Today was the 13th consecutive Friday that the prayers that the Hindutva mobs disrupted Friday prayers in open spaces by Muslims.

Despite sites being designated by the state government for this purpose, the Hindutva mobs have disruptingers.
