The residents of Budgam’s Narbal area have been facing hardships due to the absence of electricity for the past two weeks.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat the local residents said that the Dumail crossing in the Sozeth area of Narbal said electric transformer of the area was damaged two weeks ago.
“After repeated calls for taking the transformer for repair, the Department took away the transformer, but it never came back after the repair,” they said.
In the absence of electricity, the residents said, their work, and education are suffering immensely. “The locals are suffering immensely due to the absence of electricity in the area for more than two weeks now,” a local said.
He said that despite reaching out to the department several times, the department has failed to restore electricity in the area.
