Hundreds of students from schools and colleges in Rajouri gathered on Sunday to protest against the Board of School Education recently, claiming that there are mistakes in the result.
Alleging anomalies in the results, they said, some students were declared failed despite scoring the necessary numbers to pass, while others were passed despite earning less than the necessary minimum.
“It has never happened before that one student has been declared passed and another failed despite the fact that both students scored the same number of marks,” a student claimed.
They demanded that the board re-examine the results and correct the anomalies.
They also called for the option to reappear for exams and have their papers rechecked without having to pay any fees.
