Amid heavy rainfall and gusty winds in the Kashmir valley since Sunday, A school collapsed in the Khiram in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that the rooftop of the Government Middle school building in the Nowshehra area of Anantnag’s Khiram collapsed during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday
The Kashmiriyat got in touch with a teacher who was unavailable for comments over the issue.
However, an official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said all the teachers and students are safe. “Nobody has been injured during the incident,”he said.
