Shangus Residents Appeal Governor for Debt Relief After Recent Snowfall

The Residents of Andoo Shangus in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) staged a Protest against Horticulture Deparment claiming that the officials never visited the area to take a stock of the losses due to the recent snowfall.

The Residents while speaking to The Kashmiriyat alleged that Due to Fresh Snowfall Orchards in the area have suffered a massive damaged, but No one has visit the area to take the Stock of Damage.

“Farmers are not in a position to repay their loans raised against their farming land and orchards,” Ghulam Mohammed wani, an Orchardist told The Kashmiriyat.
