On Tuesday morning, suspected militants shot two brothers belonging to the minority community.
During this attack, one brother died on the spot and the other was injured in the Chotigam area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The deceased was identified as Sunil Kumar son of Arjun Nath and his brother Pintu Kumar was injured in the attack.
Abdul Qayoom, neighbor of the duo, said that Sunil Kumar has four daughters, while Pintu has one son studying in 10th class and a daughter studying in 11th class.
Meanwhile, official sources told The Kashmiriyat that the area has been cordoned off.
