A massive fire broke out in Chadoora area of Budgam on Sunday evening.
A police official told Kashmir News Apex-(KNA) that Fire broke out in a shopping complex at Chadoora market opposite Tehsil office around 17: 30 hrs.
He said that 05 tenders were rushed in and fire men along with police and magistrate on spot controlled the fire by 18: 45 hrs, however fire engulfed some structures and 02 shops in the upper storey of the complex.
He said that no loss of life or injuries were reported while as cause of fire is being ascertained.
Locals and firemen are clearing debris and checking gutted portion and adjoining structures, he added.
Pilgrims who are returning from Chaar e sharief Urs are requested to bear with traffic halt. Police is managing diversions of traffic, he added further. (KNA)
