People in various areas of South Kashmir’s Kulgam and Shopian areas complained that the authorities did not clear the snow on many roads of the districts due to which locals are facing hardships.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat locals from Hadigam Kulgam, Haidergund of Shopian said that the snow accumulation has restrained their movement as the authorities have failed to clear many roads in the districts.
Despite all this, when the administration failed to clear these roads which are not very far from the district headquarters, people from the villages came out and cleared the road on their own.
Meanwhile, locals have appealed to the district administration to clear the snow from all roads at the earliest so that people can heave a sigh of relief in this harsh winter.
