The MeT has predicted moderate to heavy snowfall in Kashmir plains during the next 72 hours.
According to MeT officials, “Moderate to heavy snowfall predicted in Kashmir valley during next 72 hours.
“Widespread moderate to heavy snowfall in Kashmir & rains in plains of Jammu division most likely from this evening to 6 Jan with peak on 5 Jan.”
Some places may receive heavy snowfall which may affect surface & air traffic mainly on 5 Jan, Director MeT Sonam Lotus said.
