The Jammu Kashmir police on Monday claimed to have arrested one person for harassing a woman online.
Police in a tweet said one accused Tabish Ganie, a resident of Shamswari area in Khanqah e Moula Srinagar was arrested for constant harassment of a college student online.
In a tweet Police said, “One accused namely Tabish Rashid Ganie S/o Ab Rashid Ganie R/o Shamswari khankha moula Srinagar arrested for continuous online harassment of a college girl (name withheld). FIR no 64/2023 under sections 354,354A,354D, 506, 509 of IPC registered in Nishat PS.”
