A youth from Srinagar who had gone missing from his home has been found dead from river Jhelum in Srinagar on Sunday afternoon.
Earlier, the family from Srinagar had told The Kashmiriyat that Basharat Ahmed Bhat son of late Ali Mohammed Bhat, a resident of Naid Kadal, Srinagar left home on February 04 after which he has been missing.
Following his absence, his family filed a missing report in the concerned Police station.
The Police has launched searched to trace Basharat, and on Sunday a team of Police that was conducting searches near Jhelum found his decomposed body in river Jhelum near Safakadal in Srinagar.
