The Sub-District Hospital Tral in district Pulwama is in need of a blood bank, since its establishment as a primary health center.
In absence of the blood bank, the patients which need immediate blood transfusion have to be referred or directed to hospitals in Srinagar.
Locals talking to The Kashmiriyat said they are suffering due to lack of adequate facilities at the hospital.

People of the area feel that they have been ignored by successive regimes.
When contacted, ADC Tral said that the demand of locals are genuine and further said that he has initiated a conversation about the said, with CMO Pulwama and DMO for requirement of the hospital staff and organizing machineries for the blood bank
