Pakistan Arrests 18 Indian Fisherman

September 13 Pakistan authorities have arrested 18 Indian fishermen for allegedly fishing in the country’s territorial waters, an official said. The latest batch of Indian fishermen was arrested on Tuesday by the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) and they will be produced before a judicial magistrate on Thursday by the Docks police, the official said. Two fishing boats of the Indian fishermen were also seized. They will now join hundreds of other Indian fishermen lodged in jails in Karachi before they are released either on completion of sentences or through any goodwill gesture announced by the Pakistan government. September 04 A video of Indian and Pakistani army soldiers dancing together at a conference has gone viral, and online users enjoyed watching the camaraderie between both armies. Members of both armies were present at a summit in Russia to participate in the Peaceful Mission 2018, as stated by India-based New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV). August 28 The Pakistan Government is preparing a proposal to resolve the Kashmir issue, The Human Rights Minister of Pakistan's Minister for Human Rights, Shireen Mazari said. The Government, she said, will prepare a proposal on resolving the Kashmir conflict within one week and present it in the cabinet. Khan had also called Kashmir as the core issue of dispute between the two nations and said the only way to resolve Kashmir and other disputes is to sit on a dialogue table. India Pakistan to Resume Dialogue in Lahore this Week

August 27 India and Pakistan will resume their talks on various aspects of the Indus Waters Treaty in Lahore on Wednesday, the first bilateral engagement since Prime Minister Imran Khan took office. India’s Indus Water Commissioner P K Saxena is expected to reach here today to begin the two-day discussions with his Pakistani counterpart Syed Mehr Ali Shah on Wednesday, Dawn quoted a government official as saying.
