Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya To Be Set Up In Pulwama

Salman Shah The Administrative Council (AC), which met recently under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, has approved the allotment and transfer of land up to 99 kanals 16 marlas to the School Education Department at village Nownagri, Tehsil and District Pulwama, for construction of Jawahar Navodiya Vidyalaya (JNV). Till the construction of school infrastructure gets completed, alternate arrangements for housing the JNV are being carried out. Once operational, the school will cater to the educational needs of the children from far-flung areas of Pulwama district and adjacent areas by providing quality education as envisaged under the constitutional right of education. Massive Clashes Erupt During CASO in Pulwama Area

August 26 Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Maczpuna area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Late afternoon on Sunday, the forces including 55 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Maczpuna area. August 12 A 65 year old woman identified as Saja Begum and a youth have been injured in the intense clashes that erupted in the Kar Mohallah of Sirnoo in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. The Massive Clashes erupted during a CASO launched in the Kar gam locality of Sirnoo area in South Kashmir's Pulwama District.
