A teenage girl hanged herself to death in her home at Natipora area of Srinagar late on Tuesday evening.
The officials said that an 18-year-old girl (name withheld) hanged herself to death at her home in Azad Basti, Natipora area of Srinagar, on Tuesday.
“After spotted hanging from a ceiling, her family members rushed to SMHS hospital where doctors declared her brought dead,” officials said.
Doctors at the SMHS hospital confirmed to that the girl was brought dead to the hospital.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident, registered an FIR and started investigation.
