Teenager goes missing from his home in Anantnag area

A teenage boy has been missing from his home in Wanpoh area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Hilal Ahmed Bhat, his father told The Kashmiriyat that Yasir his son, who is 15 years old has been missing since 05 May 2022.

Yasir Ahmad Bhat who is a student of class 9th in Delhi Public School in Anantnag had left home for s picnic after which he did not return home.

“On the third day of Eid, he wanted to go for picnic. I initially refused to allow him going outside, but then I asked him to leave after which I went to my paddy fields. When we returned home, he was not home,” his father told The Kashmiriyat.

Since then the family has been trying to find him, but there has been no clue of him.

His father said that they have filed a missing report at the Wanpoh Police station.

Earlier, The Kashmiriyat reported that a 23-year-old youth Tawseef Ahmed Bhat had gone missing from his home in Shopian’s Zainapora on Sunday (08 May).
