Three More youth from South Kashmir Join Militancy

Amid growing Anti Militancy Operations and encounters, two more youth from South Kashmir district of Shopian have joined the Militant ranks.

Three more youth from South Kashmir have taken to guns in the Pulwama District of South Kashmir.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that A 16 year old youth namely Faizan Majeed and Showkat Bin Yousuf and Nishaz Hussain Lone have joined Militancy.

Faizan and Showkat who are from Awantipora, have joined the Militant outfit, Tehreek Ul Mujahideen (TeM).

While Nishaz who is an engineering student and a resident of Tral has joined Hizb ul Mujahideen.

The Trio went missing last week from their homes in the Pulwama District after which their missing reports were lodged by their families at local Police stations.

A few days later after they went missing, their photos surfaced on social media, showing these youngsters armed with rifles.

A Police official said that they are verifying the authenticity of the photographs.

2018 is so far the year of highest Militant recruitment in the recent past, the recruitment  has picked pace after the three encounters that were held on 01 April this year.
