Three residential houses gutted in Budgam fire

Three residential houses were damaged in a massive blaze that broke out in Wangus area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday afternoon.

An official told Srinagar based news agency, Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that fire broke out in a residential house and engulfed other two residential houses in Wangus Chadoora in Budgam.

“Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames,” he said, adding that three residential houses got damaged till the fire was brought under control.

He said no one was injured in the incident and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

He said the three residential houses which were gutted in fire belong to 1. Abdul Khaliq Wani son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani, Ali Mohammad Wani son of Abdullah Wani and Ghulam Hassan Wani son of Abdullah Wani (Three owners belongs from same family) 2.Ghulam Mohidin Wani son of Ghulam Rasool Wani and Ghulam Qadir son of Mohd Ramzan Wani and 3. Nazir Wani Son of Abdul Ahad Wani.

Police have taken cognizance of the fire incident. (KDC)
