Suspected militants fired upon two persons in the Pahalgam area of Anantnag district of south Kashmir.
Police in a tweet confirmed that two non locals were injured after being fired upon by militants on Saturday night at the Yaner area of Pahalgam.
The duo has been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
“Terrorist fired upon and injured a lady Farha R/O Jaipur and spouse Tabrez at Yannar, #Anantnag. Injured evacuated to hospital for treatment. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” Police said in a tweet.
