Two Lawyers Arrested in Srinagar for Preparing Fake Bail Documents for Thieves

The police have arrested two lawyers accused of making the fake bail bond of High Court for the bail of three vehicle thieves.

This case came out in the year 2017.

He concerned Officials said that the Registrar Judicial of the State High Court had complained in the written statement of the Police Station Shaheed Gunj in the year 2007 that fake bail documents were prepared for the bail of three persons allegedly involved in car theft.

The police started the investigation by registering a case on the complaint.

After investigating the case, the police arrested two lawyers, Peer Aamir Rashid resident Aluchi Bagh and Musavir Bashir Mir of Bomai Segipora Baramulla.

An official investigating the case said that they had fabricated fake documents for making the security of the three people lodged in the central prison Srinagar on the charge of auto theft.

Three vehicle thieves arrested in the jail were arrested by Jammu Kashmir police.

Magam court rejected the bail application of the three.

After this, the accused did not get bail even in the Badgam district court, then the lawyers, Pir Amir Rashid and Musavir Bashir Mir filed a petition in the State High Court, Srinagar. When the petition was dismissed in the High Court then both the lawyers had prepared fake bailable documents.

On the other hand, police officials said that both the lawyers have been presented in the court on Saturday, from which they have been sent to five days police remand.
