Two more Srinagar teenagers go missing, Families appeal for return

After the family of Suhail Ahmed Mir from Srinagar, two more Srinagar families have appealed Police and the general public to help them trace their kin who have gone missing from Srinagar.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the mother of Milad Bashir, who is the son of Late Bashir Ahmed, a resident of Kadwara area in Srinagar said that Milad left home around 2:45 PM on Monday, but did not return home.

“He said that he was going to his maternal house. I called him around 4 and he said he was in Ganderbal. When I called him the next time, his phone was switched off. We tried to call him several times, but his phone has been shut since,” she said.

Worried about his safety, the family asked their relatives, and friends, however, there has been no trace of Milad since then. The family also filed a missing report in the concerned Police station.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the family appealed to the public to help them trace the 15-year-old boy. “Please contact us on the phone number 9622759032, If you happen to see my boy,” his mother appealed.

Meanwhile, another family from Srinagar’s Nawakadal has said that their son has gone missing since June 20.

Identified as Abdal Mushtaq Wani, a resident of Khanda Bhawan in Nawakadal Srinagar is a Class 9th and has been missing since 20 June 2022 after school classes from The Legends School of Education at Kanitar, Sadribal, Hazratbal, Srinagar.

Earlier The Kashmiriyat reported, that a teenager identified as Suhail Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Ahmed Mir, a resident of Dalipora Kawdara Srinagar has gone missing since yesterday after he went for tuition in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
