Two youth go missing, one from Baramulla another from Pulwama

Two more youth have gone missing from their homes in the Kashmir valley, after which their families have appealed them to return home.

Families of the duo speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that Aabid Hussain Shah, a resident of Pulwama’s Monghama ad Irshad Ahmed Mir of Nehalpora Baramulla went missing from their homes on 09 May, 2022.

A youth has gone missing from his home in the Nehalpora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Identified as Irshad Ahmad Mir (23) son of Abdul Reham Mir, a resident of the Nehalpora area of Pattan has been missing since 09 May 2022.

While talking to The Kashmiriyat over the phone, his uncle Manzoor Ahmad said that he (Irshad) had left home on 09 May after having tea and did not come home till 9 pm.

“After that, his family started calling him but he did not answer and at around 10:30 pm his phone was off,” he told The Kashmiriyat.

Since then the family has been trying to find him, but there has been no clue of him.

Meanwhile, a family from Pulwama has issued a video asking their son to return.

Aabid Hussain Shah, son of late Mushtaq Ahmad Shah a 25-year-old went missing from his home in Pulwama’s Monghama village.

The family said that that on 09 May, their son left at 06:30 pm and hasn’t returned home so far.

She said that he has left home for joining Tableeqi Jamaat. “I tried to call him but his phone was switched off,” his mother said.

She said that the missing youth was working as a tractor driver. “I had lost my husband four weeks ago and he was the sole bread earner to the entire family,” she added while appealing to him to return.

The family has also filed a complaint at Pattan police station.
