Unknown thieves looted a donation box at a Khanqah in Achabal town of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday morning, during Fajr prayers they found the donation boxes of the Ziyarat Shareef Hazrat Sheikh Shihab u Din Simnani in the main town of Achabal.
Refusing to divulge any details on the cash out stolen, the locals said that they have reported the case to the local Police in Achabal.
“We have also a CCTV camera installed at the Khanqah, the footage of which will also be handed over to police. The Police have promised Swift action,” they said.
