A Srinagar-based journalist was thrashed by at least four car-borne persons in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Identified as Shabraz Bashir, who works with Jammu based News Now, he said that he was at Bemina Chowk in Srinagar when at least four persons got down from a Swift Car and caught hold of him, and thrashed him.
Shabraiz said that he kept asking them What he had done but they in return threatened to kill him. “I have lodged a Police complaint against the persons, who in return assured me of all possible help”, he said.
The Police, meanwhile said that they are checking CCTV footage to identify the culprits for necessary action.
