The annual Urs of the 21-century Sufi saint, Faqeer Milat Haji Peer Mohammad Abdullah Lone Sahab (RA), also referred to as Lone Sahab Arif by devotees, was observed with religious fervor on Thursday at Watlar Ganderbal.
Reports said that ‘Shab Khwani’ (daylong prayers) were held while devotees remained engrossed in prayers and supplications. Emotional scenes of people praying with tears in their eyes were witnessed.
Devotees including women and children usually pay obeisance at the shrine. Besides the imams and the clerics of different shrines shed light on the life, teachings, and spiritual power of Lone Sahab RA.
On the occasion the book titled ‘Paarzaan’ journey of life of Faqeer Milat Haji Peer Mohammad Abdullah Lone Sahab (RA), known as Lone Sahab Arif translated by noted writer /Journalist Sheikh Matloob was released by Peer Altaf Sahab, Sajad Nesheen Shah, Shamas Faqeer Kreshpora Budgam, Peer Manzoor Sahab, Sajadneesheen Astani Aliya Syed Sahab, Wandhama Ganderbal with Sajad Nesheen Faqeer Milat Haji Peer Mohammad Abdullah Lone Sahab (RA) watlar Peer Mohammad Ayesh Sahab and Peer Mohammad Enayat Sahab, President Anjumani Adab Ganderbal Azher Nazir Sahab, Chief Correspondent Anjumani Adab Ganderbal Sheikh Bashir Sahab, Writer Journalist Sheikh Matloob Sahab, social activist Bilal Bhat Sahab, Ab Rasheed Sahab, Talib Lone Sahab and prominent personalities of Ganderbal including various writers and journalists were present on the occasion.
