In its ongoing strikes against Yemen, the US and British forces have carried multiple strikes in the middle eastern country.

According to local media, the US-British aggression has carried multiple strikes in Yemen hits the provinces of Taiz, Bayda, Hajjah, and the capital Sanaa.

The Pentagon said that, “These precision strikes are intended to disrupt and degrade the capabilities that the Houthis use to threaten global trade and the lives of innocent mariners.

According to statements from United States officials, the recent military operation involved the deployment of warship- and submarine-launched Tomahawk missiles, along with the engagement of fighter jets.

The strikes, totaling between 25 and 30 munitions, were directed at multiple targets within each specified location, adding that the attacks yielded favorable outcomes, noting “good impacts and effects” observed at all targeted sites.

Criticism has been raised regarding the United States and its allies launching what is perceived as illegal attacks on Yemen, breaching the nation’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international law.

In the backdrop of these geopolitical tensions, Israel had previously waged a genocidal war on Gaza starting on October 7, following a significant operation by the Palestinian Hamas resistance group against the occupying entity.

The US has consistently provided unwavering support to Israel during this onslaught, which has resulted in a tragic toll, with over 25, 000 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, killed and at least 61,000 others injured.

In a show of solidarity with the Palestinians in besieged Gaza, the Yemeni armed forces have been targeting ships in the Red Sea with ties to Israel or those traveling to and from ports in the occupied territories.

The most recent incident occurred against the US-owned Genco Picardy bulk carrier in the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday, adding another layer of complexity to the ongoing regional dynamics.

The Saudi and UAE-led coalition has carried out inhumane bombing in Yemen since 2015 killing tens and thousands of people.,

As per the local media this was the eighth round of strikes conducted by the US-UK coalition on Yemen since their first strike on January 12.

While the ongoing bombings by the US and UK have reportedly resulted in a significant number of casualties, earlier this month (January 15) thousands of Yemenis, participated in a poignant funeral procession, laying to rest the bodies of several martyrs who fell victim to the US-UK aggression in Yemen
