‘Vacate the Hostel Immediately’- Panjab College Initiates Action Against Students Who Assaulted Kashmiri Students

The administration of a college in Panjab have initiated disciplinary proceedings against four students who thrashed Kashmiri students after Pakistan defeated India in the T20 Match on October 24.

As per a notification issued by the Baba Farid Group of Institutions,  Muktsar Road, Bathinda, Punjab the four students have been found indulged in in-disciplinary activities in the hostel in the night of dated 30/10/2021, which is a serious violation of rules of hostel and campus of Baba Farid Group of Institutions.

The students have been asked to vacate within 24 hours, failing which they will be held responsible for the action taken further into the matter.

The miscreants namely Kumar Karthikey Ojha, Ayush Kumar Tiwari, Ujjwal Pandey and Ayush Kumar Jaiswal have been asked to immediately vacate the hostel along with their belongings.

In the aftermath of the clash between India and Pakistan in the ongoing T20 Clash, several students from Kashmir were thrashed in colleges in Panjab. The Kashmiris alleged that students from outside Panjab assaulted them.

Three students from Kashmir were arrested for allegedly supporting Pakistan during the cricket match and booked under sedition in the BJP led state of Uttar Pradesh.
