‘Wanted-Militants’ Posters Surface in Sopore Kashmir

The Jammu Kashmir Police in the Sopore area of Baramulla in North Kashmir has listed the three top-most wanted Militants in the Sopore belt.

Official Sources informed The Kashmiriyat that the posters of “wanted-Militants” have surfaced in various areas of Sopore Kashmir wherein three Locals have been asked to provide information about the three carrying a cash bounty of rupees ten lakh each.

Pertinently, the posters have figured two days after an attack on Government forces in the Sopore area, in which two civilians and two cops were killed.

“Two local militants involved in the attack have been identified,” Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar had said, adding,  Jammu Kashmir Police and security forces are on job and they will be tracked down at an earliest.”

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Search operations were launched in Sopore and its adjoining areas to track down the attackers.

They said that since Saturday afternoon cordon and search operations have been launched in Sopore Town, Zainageer, Dangarpora, Nowpora Kalan.

As per Sources, the Militants who have appeared in the photographs are Mudasir Ahmed Pandit resident of Dangepora Sopore, Fayaz Ahmed War, Warpora Sopore and Khurshid Ahmed Mir resident of Brath Sopore.

The Police has also provided multiple numbers at the footer of the posters asking people to contact the numbers if they have any information about the three.
