‘We have not been Using Hostels for a Year’- Kashmir University Hostellers Demand Refund of Hostel Fees

The hostellers of Kashmir university have demanded a refund of the hostel fee as the university has been shut for more than a year and the students have not used the hostel.

A group of Students told The Kashmiriyat that scores of students from various parts of the Kashmir valley who live in the hostels of the university have not been using the University service since August 05 as the university has been shut since.

“Each student has to pay an annual hostel fees of 40,000 INR and since we have not been using the hostels, we demand that our hostel fees for 2019-20 be refunded,” a student Mohammed Waseem from Pulwama told The Kashmiriyat.buy zocor generic mexicanpharmacyonlinerx.net/zocor.html over the counter “A few students did stay in the hostel for barely a week or two before the outbreak of coronavirus,” he added.

The students said that approached the university vice-chancellor who has assured full support to the students regarding the issue. “We were told that the university has been working on the issue for the past two months,” Waseem said.

He appealed to Lieutenant Governer’s administration to intervene in the matter.
