Woman Allegedly Harassed by Forces dies after remaining on ventilator for 4 days.

Jana Begum, 50 from Arbal village of Pulwama district of South Kashmir breathed her last at SMHS where she was admitted before 4 days after allegedly harassed by government forces.

Family Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Jana was on ventilator from last 4 days where she breathed she breathed her last today.

As per locals, on Tuesday morning around 11:am government forces knocked the door of  Mohammed Ashan Malik however only two women were present there at that moment and they scared to open the gate.

When nobody responded inside, forces jumped over the wall and entered into the house, they said.

As soon forces entered into the house they started beating everything  whatever came in their way, they added.

As Jana Begum and her daughter who had given birth to a baby recently were the only persons at home, on seeing forces entering their house, they tried to call neighbours however they were not allowed, they said.

As forces harassed both and ransacked the house, both the ladies present there fell unconscious after which they were shifted to near by hospital however the condition of Jana Begum continued to deteriorate with every passing hour and finally she breathed her last Saturday morning.

The Army Spokesman denied the allegations and called them baseless.
