Arif Ahmed Sheikh, the bread earner of the family went missing on Friday. Arif’s mother spoke to The Kashmiriyat and said, “My son would earn whatever he could and bring it to us. I kept waiting for him to return on Saturday. We called him multiple times on his phone, but it was all in vain. His number was switched off”.
“I plead to all of you, if anyone knows about my sons whereabouts, let us know, I am waiting for him to return” she said.
Arif’s sister said that her brother was the bread earner of the family and he would come back home every Saturday. After their calls were not answered, their family was worried sick for their son. She said, “We kept waiting for him but he did not return. On Saturday in the afternoon, Army men were at our doors and they said that they have no whereabouts or clues to where my brother is. I appeal to the masses if he is somewhere, let us know. Bring him back, please, our mother is sick, he was the only pillar of support both, financially and emotionally”.
The family appeals to the masses and forces that if their son is killed, they should know about his death and if he is alive, Police must start the probe for his search.
