Another Encounter Starts in Baramulla, 13 Hours After CASO was Launched

Another encounter has Government forces and militants in Kalantara area of Kandi in Baramulla district on Thursday morning .

Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 29 RR of Indian Army, 176 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a CASO in the area on Wednesday evening.

After a brief exchange of gunfire on Wednesday evening, the Militants had eventually escaped the site of the cordon.

On Thursday morning, fresh contact was established after forces sealed the area and conducted searches in the area to trace out the escaped militants.

As per Latest reports available to The Kashmiriyat, a massive exchange of gunfire is underway.

Meanwhile another encounter is going on between Government Forces and Militants in Warpora area of Sopore in North Kashmir.

Internet has been suspended as a precautionary measure in baramulla and Bandipora districts.
