Third edition of Jammu film festival ends today

The third edition of the Jammu Film Festival began at Abhinav Theatre on Saturday. Sponsored by Jammu Kashmir Tourism Department, the festival featured parallel screenings of 25 feature films, short films and documentaries from various countries including Iran, India, France and the US. The opening section of the festival showcased short films and a documentary from countries such as Iran, India, France and the US. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Director Tourism Jammu, Vivekanand Rai. Vivekanand Rai praised the festival for promoting tourism in Jammu and Kashmir and providing a platform for filmmakers to showcase their talent. The festival features screenings of 50 feature films, short films and documentaries from 11 countries and will run until April 9.

Hrithik, Deepika starrer ‘Fighter’ to be shot at Dal Lake

Actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone have reached Kashmir to start the next schedule of their aerial action thriller film ‘Fighter’. Helmed by Siddharth Anand ‘Fighter’ also stars Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles and is all set to hit the theatres on 25 January 2024.
