Four Army men Killed in Pulwama Encounter

Four Army men have been killed An early morning encounter has started between militants and Government forces at Pinglan area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District, NDTV reported

Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 55 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police were fired upon by Militants during a cordon and search operation in the area.

Immediately the troops cordoned off the area and the hiding Militants opened fire on the troopers triggering an encounter.

As per reports, Four soldiers have been killed in an overnight encounter in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.

The slain soldiers have been identified as Major DS Dondial, Head Constable Save Ram, Sepoy Ajay Kumar and Sepoy Hari Singh.

As per initial reports available to The Kashmiriyat two to three militants were trapped in a residential house in the area.

As per the latest reports the firing has stopped, Militants have likely escaped.
