A 05-year-old boy drowned to death in Lidder nallah near Rajwas bridge in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday morning.
An official told news agency—Kashmir Scroll, that 05-year-old Mohammad Sofiyan Son of Tanzeem Alam slipped into lidder nallah near Rajwas bridge this morning.
He said soon after the incident, a police team, along with locals, launched a rescue operation.
He said that his dead body was retrieved and after legal-medico formalities the body will be handed over to family.
