At least ten people have sustained injuries during the ongoing clashes near the Encounter site in the Sirnoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District where an encounter raged early morning on Saturday.
The Government Forces fired tear smoke shells, pellets and bullets on the protesting youth as they tried to march towards the encounter site, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Sources confirmed to The Kashmiriyat that one among the injured youth identified as Amir Ahmed of Ashmandar Pulwama was referred to the Srinagar hospital after he was hit with a bullet, he however succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
The clashes were going on while this report was being filed
In the ensuing gunfight, three Local Militants were reportedly killed.
