One army man has been killed in the ongong encounter at Batgund area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District early morning on Sunday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that an Army man identified as Nazir Ahmad who was injured succumbed his injuries after bing wounded in the encounter that raged at Batgun late night on Saturday.
The 34 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police are jointly conducting the operation.
