Mobile Internet services have been barred in Islamabad (Anantnag) and Kulgam Districts after three civilians were shot dead in Redwani area of SOuth Kashmir’s Kulgam District.
Telecom Officials told The Kashmiriyat that Internet services have been blocked in Islamabad (Anantnag) and Kulgam and will be shortly suspended in Pulwama and Shopian.
Three Civilians were shot dead when Government Forces fired upon civilians during clashes in Redwani area of Kulgam District.
Suspension of internet during gunfights has been a norm in the recent past as officials believe that it’s a necessary step to avoid rumour mongering.
