One Militant has been killed in nocturnal morning encounter has started between militants and Government forces at Warpora area in Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday afternoon, 22 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police after reeving inputs about Militant presence in the area laid a cordon and search operation in the area.
The cordon continued for nearly eight hours, during which the hiding Militants opened fire on the troopers triggering an encounter.

As per initial reports available to The Kashmiriyat two to three militants are trapped in a residential house in the area.
In the ensuing gunfight, one has been Militant, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
They said that firing has restarted at the encounter site.

Meanwhile mobile internet services have been snapped in the region, also section 144 has been imposed to thwart any kind of protest.
