The Indian Army on Wednesday claimed to have killed a Militant and foiled an infiltration bid along in Rajouri district of Jammu Kashmir along the Line of Control that divides Kashmir between India and pakistan.
An official said that upon finding a suspicious movement along the Line of Control, the army started a search operation during which one Militant was located.
Upon being located, the Forces tried to stop him, however he opened heavy fire on the Forces who retaliated resulting into the killing of the Militant.
They also said that the body of the Militant has been handed over to local police.
