One unidentified Militant has been killed when they were intercepted by Indian Army’s 34 RR in Kujar area of Yaripora in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
Sources informed The Kashmiriyat that the Militants opened fire on a party of Indian Army when they were intercepted by them near the Yaripora’s Kujar area, to which the Army
In the retaliatory fire, one Militant, unidentified, was killed, however no dead body has been recovered from the site, they said.
The Army had earlier launched a CASO in the area.
A massive search operation has been launched in the area as One militant is believed to have escaped from the spot of initial contact between Militants and Government Forces.
In the initial exchange of fire, three troopers have also been injured, they have evacuated to the hospital for treatment, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
As per Locals, the firing has stopped, however a search operation is underway and more forces are being called to the spot.
Meanwhile a Police official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat confirmed the exchange of fire adding that they are ascertaining the details of the incident.
